Vegetable Soup Friday



By the time we collected our vegetables from our classroom garden and brought a vegetable from home, we had a huge variety of soup ingredients.  Everyone had a go at preparing the vegetables and adding them to the pot.






Our pot was nearly overflowing once all the vegetables were added.
The soup simmered away all through lunch time, so that it was ready to serve after SSR in the afternoon.
Otis did a great job of serving the soup at the Cockle Bay Cafe.



Everyone gave our soup the taste test!





It was Constance's first day in Room 18, so it was quite a surprise for her to see soup being served!


After we had finished eating, we assessed how much was liked our soup.
