Spring has sprung!

 Now we are in September, we feel Spring has sprung!  

We recycled a plastic Sprite bottle to make a rain gauge to capture the measure the rainfall from all our heavy, frequent Spring showers. 

We planted forget-me-nots in our classroom garden and checked out the vegetable garden that we look after by the Batey Block.  We picked a bunch of yellow nastursiums for our yellow banana table.  We also found that some of the broad beans were already ripe, so we harvested some so we could nibble them fresh from their pods as a little brain food snack back in the classroom.
