Lots of people have been working hard of their school work during lockdown #2, and are sharing their ideas, art, science experiments, reading, writing, maths and dancing on SeeSaw. I really enjoy reading or listening to your posts, including your videos, photos and voice recordings, stories and maths problem solving.
In addition to distance learning set by the school, some people have been out and about learning about things in other ways. You can learn inside, outside, in fact in all kinds of unexpected places with all kinds of different people!
Mrs Bear reporting:
Charlie has been learning how mirrors work.
Adam has been teaching his brother how to do big floor puzzles, as well as learning how houses are built (in the best possible way . . . by following the build of his family's new house!)
LJ and his family have been learning how to enjoy themselves in Queenstown (not too difficult as there are always so many activities to choose from). Here they are on the shotover jet boat, but Lj has also been learning how to pan for gold and sit extra tight on the shark hydro attack!
Charlotte has been learning how to make face masks to keep people safe from COVID-19.
Ruby has been learning how to toboggan without any snow; using cardboard box toboggans and the steep slopes of Mount Victoria near the Devonport Tunnels.
Dimitri has been learning how to make a cool things out of recycled materials. Here he introduces us to his tissue box monster and monster jellyfish.
Linsey has been learning how to cook with her Dad.
