On Wednesday, the Lockdown Tower Challenge began to find the most creative tower in Room 18. Students had to make a tower using any material. They had to count the number of components in their tower and its overall height.
The entries were all of a high standard, showing perseverence, skill and creative thinking.
Special Mentions:
The tallest was Emma's tower - no actual measurement, but it was nearly twice as tall as her (using lots of tall boxes and a long carrot)!
The tower with the most objects was Adam's tower with 150 magnets and animals.
The tower we would most like to eat was Linsey's marshmallow tower.
The tower that looks like an actual building was Wallace's Sky Tower.
The tower with the strangest collection of objects (toilet rolls, markets, chairs, cups, table, boxes) was Wilson's tower.
The overall winners for the most Creative Tower were:
FIRST: Wilson's Tower
SECOND: Emma's Tower
Congratulations to everyone who took part - you have all done an awesome job!
