Message: Home Learning for Week 5: 17-21 August 2020:
Dear Parents and Care-givers,

Here we are again doing distance learning! I hope that your family is happy and safe in its bubble.

Your feedback to the Senior Leadership Team has been to keep things simple and manageable, but with a bit of zap to keep students motivated.

The attached weekly plan has taken these ideas on board. As in our last lockdown, individual tasks will be broken down and uploaded on SeeSaw so students can decide what they want to do and the order they do it in. I can then mark work and generally connect with the class. I will also post EXTRA FOR EXPERTS tasks for those people who are open for a little extra challenge. The message from CBS is to do as much or as little as your family circumstances dictate.

To keep emails to a minimum but also keep people informed, I will send a daily email with that concise information on that day's learning and any other relevant issues. In addition, I will copy the same information, along with a selection of student work on our class blog at: https://room18cbs2020.blogspot.com/
You can request an email alert when the blog is updated by submitting your email address to the 'follow by email' box at the top of the blog.

Please contact me directly by email if you need help with lost passwords or other school learning related issues.

As previously, we will have a daily google meet at 11am every weekday morning, starting today.

Thank you once again for your on-going support,
Bridget
