We have been learning greetings, everyday questions and answers in Te Reo throughout the year using the website Wai Ako and other initiatives. We are lucky to have Liam in our class, who helps us with correct pronunciation.
For Maori Language Week, we decided to video our morning greetings and use our knowledge of numbers to play dominoes in Te Reo. We also read Junior Journal 53, and started to make our own pepeha using the 'Making a Pepeha' article as a model. Some people are also making book marks in Maori designs.
