Monarch Butterflies


We have been looking after Monarch caterpillars on swan plants in Room 18.  Over three weeks, we have watched them munching all the Swan Plant leaves, slow down into a 'J' shape and turn into chrysalis and then, maybe a week later, we have carefully carried the Monarch butterflies outside to dry their wings after they have hatched.
