Room 18 working together

In our All About Us theme,  we have learning about ourselves and our responsibilities towards each other.

We used a v-e-r-y long piece of wool to connect with each other.  We soon found that, if everyone was calm and still, the wool stayed still BUT, if even one person jiggled only a little bit, the whole wool network was affected and moved.

This was a good analogy of how we operate in the classroom.  When everyone is kind and doing the right thing, whether it is learning or cleaning up, things stay in balance BUT it only takes one person to interrupt the flow.

Everything is still and in harmony,

Now you can see what happens when we are NOT in harmony.
